Am forgoing my usual lunchtime caffeine fix in case of surprise blood pressure checks at the doctor's this afternoon.

Tell me it's not just me they do this to: "Oh, and while you're here we might as well take your blood pressure...."

Yes, it's high. Yes, it's always high when I have it taken at the surgery. Oh, I dunno, maybe because I hate going to see the doctor because you always take my f'ing blood pressure and tell me it's high? Ya think?

Yeah, it's been a while, but I've been a busy, busy bunny (if bunnies worked 12 hour days and could operate computers), with nothing very interesting to report. Except...I'm 30! When did that happen?

Anyway, I could regale you (who?) with edifying tales and witticisms, but there's! no! time! Because 'Wedding Stories' is on!

Am all about the bizarre reality TV at the moment, when I actually watch TV. Keep your 'Big Brother' and your 'Apprentice'- I'll take 'Sex Change Hospital' and 'Wedding Stories', thanks...!

Am loving the new BSG, however. The boy wants me to watch the original (I have only vague memories, due to - clearly - having existed in a different televisual universe to my peers throughout my childhood) but it sounds too campy and silly for me. I like my sci-fi to take itself a bit seriously... ;)

Sitting in my office, singing 'Chain Reaction' (!) whilst bopping in my chair, it occured to me that it's quite a good thing I work from home...
